6 designers to look out for at Arab Men’s Fashion Week 2021

The second edition of Arab Men’s Fashion Week kicks off in Dubai on June 28. The three-day fashion event will commence in a hybrid format and will feature a host of international as well as local design talent. Read on to discover some of the labels that are showcasing their Spring 2022 collections.
Amato
Helmed by Filipino couturier Furne One, the brand has been sported by some of the biggest female celebrities in the world, including Shakira, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.
Valette Studio
Emerging French designer Pierre Francois Valette launched his brand in 2020, focusing on sustainable, locally-produced pieces.
Emergency Room
Founded in Beirut in 2018, the unisex brand believes in ethical and sustainable production practices. The label’s garments are made by upcycling thrifted secondhand and vintage materials.
Lazoschmidl
Designed by German-Swedish duo Andreas Schmidl and Josef Lazo, the label aims to unite fashion design and literature.
Behnoode
The Italian bespoke brand was founded by designer Behnood Javaherpour in Naples in 2005. It is known for its premium men’s suits crafted out of luxe fabrics and materials.
EGOnlab
Based in Paris, the emerging, genderless label was co-founded by Florentin Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix in 2019.
